Unboxing My Nikon D-90 Camera

Photography has been my lifelong passion. With digital photography, there's always new & exciting equipment that's introduced. Such is the case with Nikon's latest digital reflex still camera: the D-90. Here is my latest popular "Unboxing" video from the day I received this camera. The Nikon D-90 is a pro camera with 12.3MP sensor and a 18 - 105mm zoom lens. As I unbox it, I give some tips & hints regarding this camera. This camera is also one of a few of it's type that can shoot video as well as stills. You'll see a short video from this camera that I shot. My first DSLR was a D80 I purchased four years ago. The shutter went out a few weeks back but I had been planning to upgrade to the D7000 anyway so this just hurried things up. I bought the D7000 kit with the 18-105 lens but quickly sold that on Ebay. I was shooting with a Tamron 17-50 2.8 lens on the D80. For low light, it worked pretty well but greater than half the time I needed to use my SB-600 flash to capture my young kids doing what they do (move). You can tell a lot about the camera simply by reading the specs, but they do not tell the whole story. PROS;-12MP have a lot of room to crop, I can crop down to 1/3 of the picture and there is still enough info for a decent 13x19 print.- Images are clean and smooth. I bought this camera in preparation for a sightseeing trip I took to China. I've never owned a camera before and it was **easy for me to use** this one. I still have to learn how to use the manual settings, but it **took some really good pictures** even just on the auto and no-flash settings. I've had my D2H for 9 months now. I've heard of the magenta skin tones issue but have never seen it..skin tones on my unit are great. It seems this issue plagued a minority of users.Camera is very fast, exposes well and delivers results. It's primarily designed to be a sports and Photojournalism camera -- for situations where speed counts. It's a 4 megapixel wonder -- it's true it only has 4 megapixels, but they are 4 GREAT megapixels. Images upsize wonderfully.
